Just a reminder we have the Introduction to Cycling at Auckland Grammar scheduled for Thursday 6th March at 7pm to be held at the new Auckland Grammar School Old Boys Pavilion.
We’d like to see you all there, new cyclists as well as Juniors and Seniors from last year, along with all parents.
The evening will get underway after registration at 7pm with an address from Dale Johnson, Master in Charge of Cycling, as well as further information from Murray and Aaron Gate and introductions to those involved in coaching and assisting in the running of cycling at Grammar.
We’ll also have a brochure which will be of particular benefit for those boys and parents who may be new to cycling at the school.
There will also be details on plans for the weekend ahead of us – the introductory ride on Saturday the 8th for new juniors, as well as the bunch ride out to Muriwai on Sunday the 9th for all riders.
Please bring along a small plate on Thursday evening with some after dinner nibbles to share – and if you wish bring along your own wine or beer. Coffee, tea and juice will be provided. After the formal part of the evening there will be time for those who want to stay on for more socializing to discuss the season ahead – as well as time for parents with further questions to find out everything they might want to know.
