Ready for Camp?

Just a reminder to those of you attending the Grammar Cycling Camp this coming weekend – please be at school by Gate 3 at 6am ready to go, as soon as our group is organized.  Make sure you have warm enough cycling gear on, we also suggest you have a small day-pack ready to go with the lead / following vehicles with anything you might want during the day (and to put away warm clothing you discard as the day warms up) and please also have your bag for the weekend ready to put on to the transport vehicle which will take your gear to camp.  (You should have all the items in the information sheet we sent out – click here if you don't have this information.  Also please ensure you have working front and rear lights on your bike – it will be dark for the first part of our ride.

Anyone who has not confirmed their intention to come along on the camp – it is not too late.  We particularly want to encourage the newer riders to come along.  This will be a great weekend for team building and having some fun with your mates, as well as getting in some good riding on quite country roads in a safe environment with some experienced riders.  For anyone who finds the going a bit tough there will be support vehicles where your bikes can be racked and a lift will be available for you.

If you haven't confirmed your intention to come along yet, just respond send through email to rjustice@xtra.co.nz with a YES and get your consent form and payment for $100 to Mr Johnson or to Louise Foreman.  These forms and cheques can also be handed in when you get to school on Saturday morning at 6am.

See you all then ready to ride !
